Pack 6 - The best exercises to get a six pack and look great FAST!

Have you been working out over and over again and not seeing the results you want?

Are your discouraged because you do "what you are told" and nothing seems to work?

That's because there is no secret formula to getting that six pack you dream of, or finally having arms big enough that your are not embarrassed to wear that sleeve-less shirt that's been sitting in your drawer for years.

The truth is that every person is different, so the only way to get the results YOU want is for YOU to create a workout plan that fits your schedule and goals.

Necessary Ingredients to any Workout

1. GET MOTIVATED

Without a reason to get in shape, its very easy to let yourself find excuses to not work out. Its a known fact that right after the new year, gym membership sales skyrocket, and they stay packed for about a month or two, but eventually less and less people go as the year goes on. Why? Their motivation lessens. When they first set the resolution, they were pumped up to lose weight and get in shape. But eventually something comes up and you don't make it to the gym one week. It happens, we can't always put our lives on hold to workout. But the problem is, once you skip that first session, it becomes easier and easier to skip it again, until you stop going all together, or go so infrequently that your workouts are pointless, because scattered workouts are virtually useless. So the moral of the story, give yourself a reason to work out. Something as simple as "I want people to look at me when i go to the beach" will work, and each time you are about to workout (or considering skipping your workout,) remind yourself why you wanted to get in shape in the first place. This will help give you that extra boost to make the trip to the gym, because you know how happy you will be once summer rolls around.

2. SET REALISTIC GOALS

This is another major factor in workouts failing. If you want to go from a scrawny teenager to a Muscle Milk spokesman, you will never be happy, because it takes years and years of vigorous workouts to look like that. You will most likely never reach this goal, and your failure to do so will leave you disappointed. This leads back to motivation. If you pick goals that are relatively short term, you will reach them much faster, and it will keep you motivated to set yourself another goal. Its better to set 10 goals of losing 5 lbs, then to set one goal of losing 50. You get the satisfaction of successfully accomplishing what you set out to do much more often, and you are always much closer to achieving your goal. 5 pounds is never far out of your reach, but 50 can leave you feeling like you will never reach your goal. Bottom line, set more short term goals that will lead to your long term goal.
